Samiad Summer School
An international summer programme in the UK — learning, English, sports, culture and exchange.
In partnership with StarBalkans for Albanian participants — including August 2026 at Trent College.
What is Samiad?
Samiad Summer School is an international summer programme in the United Kingdom, designed for children and young people who want to combine learning with a full international experience. The programmes take place on British school campuses and combine lessons, English language practice, sports and social activities, excursions and cultural exchange with participants from different countries.
Partnership with StarBalkans
StarBalkans partners with Samiad Summer School to bring this opportunity to children and young people from Albania. StarBalkans coordinates the process for Albanian participants — from information and registration, to communication with Samiad, documentation support, group preparation and accompaniment by a chaperone from Albania during the programme.
This partnership aims to give Albanian families access to structured international programmes where education, safety, socialising and personal development come together in a single experience.
Our experience | August 2026
In August 2026, StarBalkans organised and coordinated the Albanian group’s participation in Samiad Summer School at Trent College, England, from 16–23 August 2026.
During the programme, participants combined learning with sports, social and cultural activities, excursions and shared experiences with young people from different countries. The Albanian group was accompanied and supported throughout by StarBalkans, from departure through to the end of the programme.
