StarBalkans national olympiads are academic competitions with a single phase, organised in person across Albania for pupils in grades 1–12.
Currently, the national programmes include Math Genius Olympiad, Math Without Borders and the English Language Competition. Going forward, StarBalkans aims to expand its portfolio with competitions and olympiads in other academic fields.
The olympiads are held through our network of schools and partner centres across the country. Registration can be completed directly through StarBalkans or at a partner school/centre. Local partners mainly act as organising and host centres, and may also serve as registration and information points.
Assessment follows each olympiad’s structure, taking into account scores, result percentage, grade or level, and national ranking. All participants receive a certificate of participation, while the highest results are recognised with Gold, Silver and Bronze medals.
Medals and certificates are distributed at the respective centres. Depending on local organisation, there may be joint ceremonies with pupils, parents and teachers, ceremonies organised privately by partner schools and centres, or individual prize distribution at the institution concerned.
Participation in national olympiads is fee-based. Fees, dates, registration deadlines and full details are published separately for each olympiad when registrations open.
